What to bring
We really want you to enjoy every minute of your Delphi Adventure. To make sure you bring everything you need, please read the following carefully and this will help you when it comes to packing for your trip.
  • Old Warm clothing: While participiting in the activities it’s better to use tracksuits/warm fleece tops. Sometimes things can get mucky, so it is preferable to bring old clothes. We would suggest you avoid jeans as they just won’t be warm enough.
  • Swimming togs: We will provide your wetsuits for all your water-based activities, but it is best to bring swimming togs to wear underneath.
  • Heavy socks: These will come in handy if it gets cold in the evenings.
  • Footwear: If possible, a pair of sturdy walking boots are ideal to bring. If you don’t have any, a pair of runners is fine. Best to bring two pairs of runners – an old pair for water-based activities and one to keep dry. Also, open-toe shoes are not appropriate for our activities.
  • Waterproof Jacket and Trousers: This is a real necessity as the weather can go from sunshine to rain and back again no matter what time of the year it is! This gear does not have to be expensive, as long as it is waterproof.
  • Woolly Hat and Gloves: You may not use these, but you will be delighted that you brought them if it gets a bit cold outside.
  • Toiletries: We have a limited supply of toiletries for sale at the centre.
  • Evening Time: You will need a change of dry clothes and shoes for the evening time.
  • Plastic Bags: As you may have a lot of wet gear at the end of your stay, it is best to bring spare plastic bags to put this gear in when you are packing to go home.
  • Insect Repellent and Sunscreen: Two must have items - especially if you are visiting us during the summer months.
